Responsibilities
Leisure Services is divided into three divisions, which include:
- Recreation – The Recreation Division offers a diversity of programs and endeavors to provide something for all ages. We encourage community involvement through our wide array of activities. There are special events, cultural events, instructional activities, sport leagues and other services that provide health, fitness, relaxation, and enjoyment to our community.

- Parks - The Parks Division consists of over 176 acres of open space. The City owns 8 parks and several pocket parks in the community for the enjoyment of all. Whether you like scenic overlooks, fishing, floral landscapes or picnics, these and many more activities can be enjoyed throughout our parks.In addition, the City owns and maintains 2 cemeteries, Morrison Cemetery and Evergreen Cemetery.

- Fort Meade Mobile Home Park – The Mobile Home Park is owned and operated by the City of Fort Meade. The Park provides double and single wide lots, a 4,800 Sq. Ft. Activities Center, and a 9-Hole practice golf area to its residents.
