OPEN POSITION(S):
THE CITY OF FORT MEADE is accepting applications for the following positions:
Water/Sewer Service Worker I, II, and III.
W/S I performs maintenance and repairs of water & sewer lines under general direction of supervisor. Must have a class B Florida driver’s license. Pay: $10.21 - $11.16 p/hr. based upon experience.
W/S II replaces repairs and maintains water & sewer lines, installs new water lines & sewer taps. Requires at least 5 years experience in water & sewer. Must have a Class 3 distribution license. Must have backhoe experience & Class B commercial driver’s license at time of hire. Pay: $12.03 - $15.04 p/hr based upon experience.
Water System Service Worker III, install, maintain, test and repair metering equipment. Perform yearly maintenance and flushing of fire hydrants. Must have at least 5 years experience in municipal water operation. Valid Class C driver’s license, Class C Water Plant Operator’s license, valid backflow tester & repair certification. Pay range based upon qualifications: $13.15 - $17.45 p/hr.
