First Annual “Cinco de Mayo” Celebration

Lewis Anna Woodbury and the ESOL Parent Leadership Council are proud to introduce the first annual “Cinco de Mayo” celebration.  The celebration is scheduled for Tuesday, May 5th from 5:00-7:30 p.m. on the Lewis Elementary Campus P.E. field. The celebration will feature Mexican Culture and/or “Cinco de Mayo” music, singing, dancing, and other presentations by all grade levels, Pre-K through 5th grade.  Other exciting activities planned include: door prizes, goody bags, food, music, crafts, and fun for the whole family. This event will also provide a great opportunity for the community to learn about the Mexican heritage and of “Cinco de Mayo”.  We are inviting the community to come enjoy the celebration and support our students.  So mark your calendar and be prepared to have a GREAT time!  If you would like to help with this event, contact Mrs. Salinas at 285-1150.  We are still in need of door prize donations and volunteers to make this event a success.
